I thought I just jammed my finger at the gym… but urgent care said otherwise 😬 It was paronychia — a nail infection that happens when bacteria sneaks in through tiny cuts or cracks near your nail. Usually from cutting nails too short or biting the skin around them. Lesson learned: keep your nails clean, don’t cut too deep, and don’t ignore swelling that keeps getting worse.
