Jiva Tattva #3 In continuation to the previous post on ‘The knowledge of the soul’ (Jiva Tattva). In the following Sloka is revealed Paramatma or the Supersoul within the heart of every living entity. There are two birds with similar qualities, friends, living in the same tree. One bird eats the pipapala fruit and the other bird not eating, merely observes. - (Sveatasvatara Upanishad - 4.6)- . Sitting in one tree (the body) are the soul and the Supersoul. The individual soul eats the fruit of the tree, while the other bird does not eat the fruit but only observes the activities of the eating bird. Without attachment, the witnessing bird helps the fruit-eating bird perform all activities. .
