Beyond Pronouns: Yoga Doesn’t Label You — It Liberates You
🌈 In today’s world, identity is everything.
We’re taught to define ourselves with new words:
“He/him,” “they/them,” “non-binary,” “fluid,” “self-identified.”
Modern culture says your labels are your truth.
But yoga sees deeper.
Yoga doesn’t label you — it frees you from all labels.
🕉 You are not this body. You are not this mind.
“Just as the embodied self passes through childhood, youth, and old age, so it also passes into another body. The wise are not disturbed by this.”
— Bhagavad Gītā 2.13
Your body changes. Your roles shift. Your preferences evolve.
But you?
You are the ātman — the witnessing Self — eternal, untouched, and unchanging.
📿 True freedom isn’t in building identity — it’s in going beyond it.
“The Self is not born, nor does it die. It does not come into being, nor will it cease. It is unborn, eternal, ever-existing.”
— Kaṭha Upaniṣad 1.2.18
Modern affirmations say, “Be who you feel you are.”
