Keep those fingers bent down on the hand holding the object you are cutting. It should reduce knife injuries in the kitchen. 😷 As an orthopedic hand surgeon, I see injuries like this all the time. When soft tissue from the end of the finger (and not the entire finger) is completely cut off, we don‘t generally attempt to reattach it. Once the blood supply to a small piece of soft tissue is completely interrupted, even if you reattach it, the piece will generally not survive. #finger #kitchen #handsurgeon
