She actually has a condition known as ectrodactyly. 👉 Ectrodactyly, or split hand/split foot malformation (SHFM), is a rare congenital, genetic limb disorder characterized by the absence of central digits (fingers or toes), resulting in a V-shaped cleft and “claw-like” appearance. Fortunately, the girl in the video appears to have good hand function. When there's no significant functional limitation, we generally do not recommend surgical intervention. 👉 As for carpal tunnel syndrome, it's probably one of the most common conditions I treat. Generally we can manage it with activity modification, anti-inflammatories, splinting, and corticosteroid injections.
