Happy #InternationalDanceDay from my favorite city in the world, NYC! Every year on this day, I reflect on how dance has truly impacted my life for the better.  And as I try to work my way backwards, thinking of all the “firsts” I experienced in my life because of dance - my first moments of joy, my first time trying on my patent leather tap shoes, my first time performing on stage, my first time traveling alone, my first time making friends in a foreign place, my first time being on camera, and the list goes on and on - I can’t help but be grateful.  All of these firsts were possible because of DANCE.
