25th Night Opportunity ‼️ A few years ago a survivor of domestic violence came to our center in fear of being forced in a marriage. Fast forward few years later - and nothing has changed. We are still supporting young girls who are being pressured by their parents to marry against their will ‼️ A few years ago, when this client came to our center - she she was suppose to be on a plane on her way to marry a 40 year old man. Her parents didn’t want her to finish her education, instead they wanted her to get married at 17. She didn’t want that for herself. She wanted to become a doctor and continue her eduction. Since we’ve opened up our doors we’ve had over a dozen young survivors reach out to us in need of emergency urgent assistance. We’ve gotten calls from guidance counselors and hospital rooms. A few years later - and nothing has changed. We get several of the worst call every year of a young girl being betrayed by the people who were supposed to go protect her from all evil. B...
