A reminder — especially right now. 🏳️‍⚧️ Trans people don’t owe the world performance. Trans men don’t owe stereotypical masculinity. Trans women don’t owe stereotypical femininity. Nonbinary people don’t owe androgyny. And none of us owe anyone “passing” in order to deserve dignity, safety, or respect. In a time where trans lives are being debated, policed, and scrutinized across this country and around the world, our community still deserves the same thing we’ve always deserved: love, autonomy, and the freedom to exist as we are.
