Our aluminium tubes and bottles are made of 95% pre-consumer recycled aluminium and we chose not to have secondary packaging to limit the use of (in our opinion, unnecessary) materials. This for us is the definition of less is more — for minimal environmental impact. They don’t always arrive looking perfect but that was kind of the point. On the inside, it is exactly as we intended it to be (so are you by the way). Unfortunately not everyone loves receiving imperfect packaging. The beauty industry seeks perfection and we were really hoping to be a simpler, more sensitive, heart wide open, come as you are brand, somewhere in the middle of it — isn’t that what natural beauty should be about? Aevi makes natural skincare, we are human and we sometimes make mistakes, but I’m not sure this is one of them.
