The cost. The time zones. The logistics. But there are some people you never regret showing up for. Surprising my sister for her 40th birthday was one of those full-heart decisions. Because at the end of the day, life will always give you reasons to stay put… but love gives you better ones to go. No matter how full our calendars get, the people we love are always worth the detour.
