Squash players are notorious for having tight, immobile hips.
These two exercises can help reduce that tension in the hips and lower back.
1️⃣ Kettlbell Prying Squat. 1-2 sets of 20 seconds
2️⃣ Lateral Step Lunge. 1-2 sets each of 6-8 reps/sode.
Use a moderate weight (I would personally use between 12kg and 16kg), and focus on sinking into and absorbing the exercise, and powerfully pushing out of each rep.
I like doing these when my hips feel “creaky”. 1-2 sets gets them feeling a lotttt better 🧈.
