We had been watching this female and her two cubs for over and hour playing in a dry river bed close to where she had hidden her kill in a nearby thicket. One cub went to start feeding and that’s when the mother got up and started heading in the other direction towards what we thought was going to be to quench her thirst at a nearby small wallow, but was she going to go there was what we were all thinking?? This picture sums up the answer!! The cub came right up next to the mother to drink creating a beautiful scene.
