With limited places, we’re expected to be even more competitive just to have a chance. But let’s be real - I don’t have perfect grades. Six months in med school, I realised that better grades ≠ better doctors. I know people with top 2% UCAT scores who didn’t get into med school and people with an average UCAT score who did. Medical schools aren’t looking for perfect grades, but instead, they want well-rounded, reflective individuals who are committed to growth🌱 So if you’re stressing over not having perfect grades, take a breath.
