We all know flashcards and the Feynman technique are classics when it comes to memorising a ton of facts. But as a medical student, I’ve been on a mission to find faster, smarter ways to study so that I can remember more in less time📚 Here are 3 underrated techniques that have actually helped me: ⬇️ 1️⃣Chunking Your brain’s working memory can only hold around 4–7 pieces of info at once (Miller’s Law). So instead of memorising random facts, group them by theme. Example: Instead of 6 separate symptoms, group them into systems (theme): → Neurological: confusion, headache → GI: nausea, vomiting → Cardio: tachycardia, hypotension Chunking reduces overload and makes recall so much easier. 2️⃣Sensation Tagging Attach your info to what you see, hear, or feel—this adds a sensory cue to boost recall.🦻 Example: Eight = Ear (they both start with E). So cranial nerve VIII (Eight) controls hearing (Ear) and balance. 3️⃣Elaboration Ask yourself “Why?” and “How does this connect to what I alre...
