Samhain Buddhist Witchery ~ photo and video test shots for Brand photography I'm thankful for having all the technology around so I can quickly iterate and try things. The method is simple: - film yourself doing the idiot with lights. At this step is crucial to have a deep understanding of the crafts utilized: light, optics, image theory, photography technique, digital photography and colour psychology (philosophy of aesthetics, basically) - see how it looks and feels - repeat until happy - try with others (if you want) - do the work for the client Here I used my imagination to cut the video together: a mix of me screen recording while shuffling through the video + IG reels tool ~ I'm pretty aware you can see my private conversations and notifications, I'm not an idiot 🔪 the idea is to display REAL content, not fake stuff 🔥 Everything was filmed on one single shot, 18 min reduced to a 1min 30sec aprox.
