For the past two years, I’ve been working on a special side project very close to my heart—a children’s book dedicated to my son Rico called The Boy And The Sky. As with everything else.. who would have known it was going to be this hard ha! 😵💫
Growing up in Mexico, I often heard, “Your dreams are too big… get your head out of the clouds.” That always stuck with me. Now that I’m a father, I want Rico to know he can achieve anything he sets his mind to. The Boy and the Sky tells the story of a boy on a camping trip who claims he can fly, but the animals he encounters insist it’s impossible. It’s a tale about believing in yourself and pursuing your dreams, no matter what others say.
While the message is simple, it’s vital for future generations. I hope it encourages kids to dream big.
