While the rest of the country is digging out of the snow, we are living in Las Vegas and enjoying 65-degree sunny skies and desert views.
Our winters here are much different than what you would find in many other parts of the country. We don’t get much snow in the valley (and when we do, it’s very minimal - I’m talking less than an inch)
Our mornings can start out cold but our afternoons and early evenings are beautiful. Our mornings are beautiful and crisp, and the way the sun hits your skin on your morning walk makes it all the easier to get your steps in. You will see a lot of people walking in the mornings into the afternoons in the winter time.
I moved to Las Vegas back in 2001, and there was a time when I considered moving to Colorado but I didn’t want to deal with the snow and ridged cold weather. I decided to stay in Las Vegas and created my own community of friends, met my husband here and the rest is history.
