The great Carol Dietz, who worked with Bill at The NY Times for over 15 years, reminded me yesterday that when I did this interview with Bill in 1994 - 30 years ago - that he was 64 years old - precisely the age I am now. This clip in its raw form - is for me, the very definition of irony on many levels.
