Bang Chau bangbangerang is Jersey City through and through and so is the way she shows up for her community: quietly, brilliantly, and always exactly when you need her. When Bang joined Jersey City Theater Center in 2015 as our photographer and graphic designer, we were still building, still developing, still branding, and learning how to reach out to our diverse community. Bang instantly became the person who could take what was in our hearts and translate it into visuals the world could understand. With a camera in one hand and a stylus in the other, she started telling our story visually… And the truth is: you never had to ask Bang twice.
