When patients have #nystagmus, the 👁/ 👀 moves uncontrollably in a particular plane (ie horizontal, vertical, etc). Symptomatically, the patient will experience #oscillopsia or “bouncy vision”. As you can see this can cause significant disability as the 🌎 bounces. In extreme cases, it results in functional blindness.
