BOYDE AW25 Collection, “DETERRITORIALIZATION” This season, Founder and Creative Director Samkelo Boyde Xaba (samkeloboyde) explores the powerful intersection of architecture, politics, and social control, reflecting on the haunting legacy of Apartheid Post-Colonial Architecture. Inspired by the design of hostels used to segregate and dehumanise non-white populations, the collection reinterprets these rigid, utilitarian structures into garments that challenge and provoke.
