Junior Brayden Pirrung got involved with MSA his freshman year. For him, running for office was an obvious choice. So was picking sophomore Elise Lewis to work with him. The pair are one of two executive bids running for Missouri Students Association president and vice-president in the upcoming election, running as Pirrung-Lewis ‘26. Outside of their campaign, both students are involved on campus. Pirrung served as a chairman of the Academic Affairs Committee, while Lewis is involved in the Cornell Leadership Program and Delta Gamma. “At the end of the day, the student government is students for students, and we just want to put them first,” Pirrung said. “We want to make sure that their student experience is top notch, and (make) sure that student government can do that.” Story | Avery Sloyer & Drew Johnson Photo courtesy of Deacon Lipsmeyer #mizzou #MSA #studentassociation #MSAelection #election #association #electioncoverage #profile #themaneater
