This family of barred owls have such a special place in my heart. I spent 5 days earlier this summer observing, filming, and photographing these 4 owlets and their parents. These clips represent not only one of my top wildlife encounters ever, but also self discovery and growth. I spent time with these owls on my first solo trip and it was honestly one of the best weeks of my life. I learned so much about myself, how capable I am, and my confidence went up so much. I also met some incredible humans that quickly became some of my best pals ( jbucketslist + jsmeltphoto ) and shared some unreal owl encounters with them.
