I’m on a photo tour with just.explorers and the bear sightings have been unreal. Big bears, baby bears, bears doing bear things… and no-so-bear things (more on that later). So many bears. Fun animal fact: These are Eurasian brown bears which is kinda like a cousin of the North American grizzly since they are both subspecies of the brown bear. Romania is home to the largest brown bear population in the EU, with around 6,000 bears living mostly in the Carpathians.
