The Israeli military said on Sunday the brother of a man who crashed into and fired shots inside of a Michigan synagogue last week managed Hezbollah weapons operations.
A local official in Mashgharah told The Associated Press that 41-year-old Ayman Muhammad Ghazali's two brothers, a niece and nephew were killed at their home in an Israeli airstrike on March 5 just after sunset, and on Sunday, Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) officials said one of Ghazali's brothers, Ibrahim Muhammad Ghazali, was a Hezbollah commander.
The Mashgharah official identified the other family members as Kassim Ghazali, and Ibrahim Ghazali's children, Ali and Fatima. Ibrahim Ghazali's wife remained in the hospital as of Friday.
Ayman Ghazali died a week after the March 5 airstrike during what the FBI called an attack targeting the Jewish community.
