✨High School Highlight: Sara✨   Meet Sara, an Armstrong High School (armstrong_high_school) senior. She’s taking over our page for a CIEE takeover and sharing all about her experience in Spain!   “Hi! My name is Sara Vake, and I am a senior at Armstrong High School in Minnesota. Last summer I traveled to Palma de Mallorca, Spain to study Marine Ecosystems and Sustainability in the Mediterranean Sea. My entire program was also in Spanish! Palma de Mallorca is a beautiful seaside city that offers so many opportunities for wildlife and city exploration. From snorkeling at national parks and cliff-jumping at a summer camp in Alcudia, to walking the city on a modern street art tour, CIEE kept us busy the whole time with everything there is to do and see in Palma. Not only did my knowledge about marine biology vastly increase, but I came away from this trip with a HUGE improvement in my Spanish speaking abilities.
