With the month of March being #InternationalWomensMonth our SeaAirFCU Vault throws it back to October 2003 when Team USA womenswp_usa athletes Thalia Munro and Amber Stachowski graced the cover of Sports Illustrated On Campus 📸 before they would embark to the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, Greece 🇬🇷 during their collegiate water polo careers at uclawaterpolo . 🐻 🤽🏻‍♀️ The 2004 USA Women’s Water Polo Olympic team was the second United States Olympic women’s water polo team in history and the second to bring home a medal, taking the bronze back home to the United States. 🥉 🇺🇸 The 2004 team was led by USA Water Polo Hall of Fame coach Guy Baker and included these two water polo legends, NCAA stars and Team USA Olympians, with USA Water Polo Hall of Famers such as Brenda Villa, Heather Petri, Natalie Golda, Robin Beauregard, Heather Moody, and Kelly Rulon. #TheVault #TeamUSA #Olympics #SportsIllustrated
