On Sunday, Sean Penn won the Academy Award for best supporting actor for his performance in Paul Thomas Anderson’s political drama “One Battle After Another.”
The three-time Oscar winner was a no-show, and it’s not the first time he’s skipped out.
The 65-year-old was instead headed to Ukraine, a country he’s been a fierce supporter of during the war with Russia.
