For 10 years, SFMOMA spring fundraisers like Art Bash have turned the museum into a playground for artists. Cue photo dump ✨
From when Judy Chicago lit up forty tons of dry ice with flares, to when JR printed guest portraits on the spot for his Inside Out Project, and when Sadie Barnette reimagined SF’s first Black-owned gay bar in glowing neon, artists have transformed the museum each year with immersive, large-scale activations built just for the night.
