NEW SOFA REVEAL Morning everyone. We’re back in Blighty! When I walked into our living room after 6 weeks in Sussex I realized I’d never actually shown you our new sofa!! For years we had a really old grey chenille 80s sofa that my kids found for free on the street at the bottom of the hill that our old flat was at the top of. Aged 7 and 9 they’d dragged it all the way up the hill themselves, then sat on it outside the front door and begged me to let them have it as our ‘new’ sofa. It was an appalling specimen of seating - and huge. And we had a very small living room. But they’d made so much effort and were so excited that I gave in. So I gave away our small white 20yr old sofa and heaved this hulking great beast in.
