Morning everyone! Some of you will have seen from my Stories that I’ve been using a scroll saw for the first time (very exciting!) to create cladding for a cabinet in the snug at thelittlewildfarm. Well I’ve done a rough cut of everything now, so I’ve painted the first leaf on, which will form the base layer. Watch this space for how I build it up. But I won’t be doing much more over the next couple of days, because we have the whole family at Little Wild for the weekend for a joint birthday celebration for my dad who turned 86 last week and my mum who turns 81 next week! It’s probably my dad’s last birthday, as he is nearing the end of end stage kidney failure. Although knowing him we will be continuing to do these ‘last’ events for him for the next 10 or 20 years!
