We’re adding a little bit of wild colour to Little Wild! As you all know, I love, indeed need bold vivid colour and a nice bit of pattern around me. However …. my boyfriend loves and indeed needs calm, muted colours and simplicity around him. So who do you think has won in this case 😂 But really … His brief to me for this room thelittlewildfarm, which at the moment is the main living room in the farmhouse, but will become more of a snug for movie watching, board games etc, was for it to feel warm, welcoming and happy. Luckily his favourite colour is orange, the warmest colour of the lot, so I leapt on that and painted the whole thing orange! It’s actually an incredibly beautiful, soft, slightly corally orange from the Farrow & Ball archives called Bisque. Then the shelf across the top of the fireplace is in another delicious archived F&B colour called Copenhagen Roof. This is a whole new colour palette for me and I absolutely love it.
