The Hurd Awards were presented at the 2026 BNP Paribas Open in a ceremony on Friday, March 6th. Former winner Mackenzie McDonald & selection committee member Lindsay Davenport helped present two $100k grants to a promising male & female aspiring American tennis player who have shown a commitment to continued development in professional tennis & exhibited exemplary sportsmanship in college tennis. This year’s ‘Champions’ were Michael Zheng (Columbia) & Reese Brantmeier (UNC)! 🎉 Additionally, a $40k grant was awarded to two finalists thanks to the support of @the.person.first .
