My first Sri Lankan Safari at an eco friendly game camp in Sri Lanka’s oldest and biggest national park 🐘🐆🌴 📍 Wilpattu National Park is just a few hours drive from Colombo airport - making it a great first stop on your trip (it’s en route to Sigiriya) 🏕️ there are a handful of places to choose from, we stayed with biggamebyecoteam 🐆 we did both afternoon (3pm) and morning (5:30am) safaris which took about 4 hours. The afternoon one ends with a tea buffet which was so cute, and you get packed breakfasts on the morning one (they last 4 hours). There’s also a really cute candlelit 3 course meal for dinner, a night walk to see reptiles & birds, and a nightly bonfire. We were lucky to see elephants & a leopard, but you can also see sloth bears which we missed 🥲 such a gorgeous experience!
