We’re back in The Empire State for our Army JROTC #CadetOfTheWeek 🎉 Meet Jawadul Jarif, a junior at Thomas A. Edison Career and Technical Education High School. Cadet Jarif joined #ArmyJROTC because of the opportunities the program offered. “I was skeptical at first, and then I researched and found out about the ROTC scholarship. After joining, I discovered that this program has offered me so much more than that. It has given me the opportunities to grow in leadership, teamwork, and confidence, while also opening up doors that I never imagined, like earning top-level cybersecurity certifications and competing nationally in Cyber competitions.” Jarif has held leadership roles within the Inventor Battalion and is a member of the academic, archery, and cyber teams.
