LIONS SHUTDOWN TIMBERWOLVES: The jserra.girlslax team produced a dominant road victory on Tuesday, as the Lions easily dispatched the Northwood Timberwolves 21-0 in a nonleague game at Northwood High School in Irvine. Junior Viv Devir tallied a team-high seven goals to pace the Lions’ scoring attack. Senior Kate Berkus added five goals. Senior Hannah Quinn and freshman Paige Smith each tallied three goals. Senior Ava Wensley and freshman Sophie Caraballo each found the back of the net for the Lions. Sophomore goalie Natalie Ng pitched the shutout between the pipes.
