“These children, they don't deserve to be ignored because Haiti has a checkered history,” says Mitch Albom, who runs Have Faith Haiti orphanage with his wife Janine. Most of the orphanage’s budget is paid for by the couple and a few private donors. Have Faith Haiti houses and cares for 56 children, from infants to teenagers.
