The journey that led Kerry Whippee to the moment the doors of her new business opened this Saint Patrick's Day she says can only be described as "serendipitous." "I saw an opportunity and I was really excited about that," Whippee said. "I've got goosebumps. It feels amazing and it feels surreal to be here today. To be putting all this hard work into reality.” Lucky Lane Interiors, now open on Main Street in Old Ellicott City, may be a new venture but is part of a longtime passion for Whippee. She also owns Shamrock Hill, a design and room staging business. #smallbusiness #maryland #ellicottcity #localnews
