#WhyMoody: This week, get to know senior academic advisor Chester Slimp! A utaustintx alum, Chester has worked at Moody for two years and loves interacting with students every day. “I really wanted to get back to my hospitality roots and be front-facing with students. Moody is the best team on campus.” Chester previously worked as a membership associate in the Texas Parents office, helping families navigate any issues that came up. Now, he gets to work more directly with Moody students. “We have students with interests in business, politics, arts and sciences. It is such an amazing group of people and minds, all under one roof.” Chester’s favorite spot at Moody is his office, where you can often find him sipping a Waterloo sparkling water. His advice for students is to always stay curious!
