To my girls Coco & Saffron: This week we marched with a thousand like minded people to bring awareness to the countless numbers of our fellow earthlings exploited in the name of animal agriculture, clothing, experimentation and entertainment. We marched in silence to show solidarity with those who scream in terror but whose voices are ignored. As you grow up, you may not remember this day but I know it will stay in your hearts forever. And I know this will be just one of many times that you take a stand for those who are oppressed and hopefully one day you or your kids will live in a world where we will look back at the terror our species committed against every other species on this planet and you can say that you were on the right side of history.
