The Tunnel of Trees is a scenic route between Petoskey and Cross Village, Michigan called M-119. 🍁 It’s one of the best areas to see the fall foliage in Michigan while taking in beautiful views of Lake Michigan! Here’s everything you need to know before heading out to see the colors on the Tunnel of Trees! The highway is 20 miles of tree canopies, charming small towns, and local cuisine. I recommend stopping in at the most-charming small town of Harbor Springs to grab a coffee at Birch Tree Bakery, lunch at The Paper Station Bistro, and THE best cookies at Tom’s Mom’s Cookies. 🍪 

Along the route, you’ll find pull-off areas with incredible views like the ones in my Reel. Take your time and get out of the car to take it all in! Don’t be afraid to explore the backroads and deviate from the Tunnel of Trees!
