So many people successfully travel full time and are happy doing so! For me, I went the college, corporate job route. And I don’t think there’s anything wrong with either path. There’s no one size fits all life plan that automatically means you’ll be happy. To me happiness is having a secure, stable income and using that income to travel on weekends. Sure, I use PTO for some longer trips. Which usually means I have to save it up throughout the year. To ease my ever present travel bug, I take weekend trips to nearby states. To make a weekend trip worth the time and money, I plan a strict itinerary in advance. It’s truly the best way to know you’re seeing everything you want to on your trip! Shorter trips may require more planning and less sleep to squeeze everything in, but they’re fun to me.
