Michigan looks like this ⬆️😍
These 3 destinations should definitely be added to your Michigan itinerary. 🧳
1. Hike Tahquamenon Falls State Park 🥾
The Upper Falls is one of the largest waterfalls east of the Mississippi. Four miles downstream is the Lower Falls. The falls can be viewed from the river bank or the island, which can be reached by rowboat rented at the park. The park also has a track chair, helping visitors explore areas of the park traditional wheelchairs might not.
2. Visit Kitch-iti-kipi 🛶
This is Michigan’s largest freshwater spring. The water is so clear and 10,000 gallons a minute gush from fissures in the underlying limestone.
3. Kayak the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore 🚣🏼♀️
If kayaking not through a guided tour, visit the National Park Service website. The website details the skills and equipment needed to help prevent injury. If you’d like to go on a guided tour, I recommend Paddling Michigan - Uncle Ducky’s.
