Turnip Rock is only accessible by water. I recommend kayaking out to this gem. It’s 7 miles round trip. Don’t forget to explore the sea caves just around the corner!

We love country living out here and enjoy nature any time of year. Sorry to say this location isn’t welcome to travelers, but a good alternative is an Airbnb in northern Michigan!
3. Kitch-iti-Kipi
My favorite Upper Peninsula destination is this natural freshwater spring. It’s so clear and riding the observation raft over the water allows you to see it all.
4. Tahquamenon Falls State Park
This Upper Peninsula waterfall is a must-see. The 1.5-mile loop will take you on an easy hike to see the upper falls. This park is also accessible to people in wheelchairs.
