Start your morning with light.
Even 2–3 minutes outside is enough for your nervous system to wake up and for your body to receive the signal that the day has started. Scientists say our brain needs real daylight to regulate our internal clock.
Ideally, try to spend at least an hour a day outside in fresh air. When it’s warm in the early morning, I like to meditate outside. You don’t have to meditate, but it’s highly recommended if you want to start your day in a peaceful, non-reactive state. You can also simply sit outside or take a short walk around your place.
It depends on where you live, but it’s very important to step outside for at least a few minutes in the morning and see natural light.
The important part - see the light with your eyes, not through a window and not behind sunglasses. Your body needs real daylight and fresh air.
Find what works for you. But step outside. Your nervous system will thank you 🌅
