Since the weather is getting warmer, I feel that this is an important reminder:
❗️Why you need to avoid the sun BEFORE:
You absolutely cannot be sun burnt in your face...this will cause BLEEDING! Bleeding skin will dilute the pigment, you will scab more, & making it harder for us to tattoo, resulting in poor retention. Also, it will be sensitive! We cannot tattoo you when you’re already hurting - ouch! Flakes/peeling from being sun burnt around your brow area will cause increase of exfoliation, resulting in poor retention.
❗️Why you need to avoid the sun AFTER:
Just imagine you getting an open wound & it just melting in the sun. It’ll probably blister or cause infection right? Also, you will sweat more & sweating is bad during the healing stage (just like working out), resulting in poor retention.
After your brows are healed (around 6 weeks), you must put sunscreen directly on your brows (in addition to what’s already in your moisturizer)...if you will be in the sun for more than ...
