Multiple animal control agencies and police officers rescued about a dozen abandoned dogs in Stillwater, Lafayette Township and Wantage Township on Monday night. After getting reports of abandoned dogs in Sussex County, rescuers found some of the chihuahua mixes in open crates without food or water.
