Larissa Danielle’s expressive usage of materials, scale, subject matter, and form explores the delicate conversations about the relationships and boundaries of disabled and diverse bodies within the world of intimacy, sexuality, sexual freedom, and self-love. Multi-media work by this 2022 Eskenazi MFA alumna in sculpture from the Washington, D.C.-metro area is on view in “Identity: Identify” at the Grunwald Gallery through November 12. Danielle presents the first talk in the Justice is the I.D.E.A. Speaker Series this Friday, October 28 at 4 p.m. in the Mies van der Rohe Building. Part of the Eskenazi School’s observance of LGBTQ+ History Month, the talk is free and open to the public. “Identity: Identify” is an exhibition of artworks by six U.S. artists working in multiple media who are examining the concept of identity from a variety of intersectional viewpoints and perspectives.
