USF Sport Management in Australia!! 🇦🇺🦘 From attending a Gold Coast Suns match earlier in the week to going behind the scenes at People First Stadium, our students got an inside look at the operations and player journey within the AFL. Conversations with Jarrod Harbrow and Pat Murtagh highlighted the impact of sport across cultures and the resilience it takes to compete at the highest level. The experience continued at Griffith University, where students explored differences between U.S. and Australian student-athlete development and discussed the future of the Gold Coast leading into the 2032 Summer Olympics. The students then toured Gold Coast Titans facility with a behind-the-scenes look at elite training environments. The day wrapped up with the Gold Coast Titans Leaguability training team, showcasing community engagement and interaction with children and adults of all abilities, highlighting the power of inclusive sport.
