SWU – 1933 💙 In 1933, John Frank Childs, a 1923 graduate of Wesleyan Methodist College, began his 12-year tenure as president. Under his leadership, the college successfully navigated the challenges of the Great Depression and World War II. Enrollment grew, new buildings were added, and student life flourished. #SWU1906to2026 #SWU120Years #SWUhomecoming2026 #SWUlife #120YearsAtSWU #SWUAlumni
